How to Measure Your Foot for Bespoke Shoes

Unlike ready-made footwear, every pair at Vicelli is crafted for your specific foot — we create an individual last based on your exact measurements. So standard size charts don't apply here: our craftsman works from precise measurements, not manufacturer standards.

How to Measure at Home

• Place a sheet of paper on a flat, hard floor.
• Stand on it in a sock and trace the outline of your foot with a pencil, keeping it strictly vertical — not at an angle.
• Measure the distance between the furthest points of the outline (heel to tip of the longest toe). Add 0.5 cm — this is your foot length.
• Repeat for the other foot. Use the larger measurement.

Important: take measurements in the afternoon — after a day on your feet, the foot expands slightly, and this is the size that matters for a comfortable fit.

What Else to Consider

• Foot width — measure the widest part of your foot (across the toe joints). This is especially important if you have a wider-than-average foot.
• Instep height — if you have a high instep or flat feet, be sure to mention it to the craftsman — the last is made to accommodate these features.
• Difference between feet — if your left and right foot differ by more than 0.5 cm, a separate last is made for each.
